FITNESS fanatics donned their Lycra and got stuck into a pop-up gym at the Westgate shopping centre.
Leiden Square in Oxford's Westgate Centre was a hive of activity on Saturday and Sunday as people took to trampolining, zumba, dance and aerobics at the FitFest gym.
The classes were staged to give people a healthy taster of what is to come in the main FitFest Oxford festival being hosted on April 21 at The Oxford Academy.
Westgate restaurants also joined in the fun by offering up healthy items from their menus to push the health-kick throughout the weekend.
Westgate Oxford general manager Brendan Hattam said: “Westgate Oxford is a place to feed your curiosity with unique places to shop, eat and play.
“We are delighted to welcome FitFest to Leiden Square this January, giving our visitors a chance to experience something new when they visit, be that a fitness class, hearing a talk or signing up for a pampering treatment.
“What’s more, with many of Westgate’s restaurants offering healthy menu options throughout the month, there’s so many way to get 2018 off to a positive start.”
