SOME 40 volunteers will plant 300 trees for wildlife and help reduce flooding at the same time.
The team of tree planters will be inserting saplings on the edge of Milton under Wychwood on Saturday, March 16.
The trees and a new hedgerow will create a haven for wildlife and help reduce localised flooding, by slowing down surface water run-off.
The event is part of a much larger Natural Flood Management Project in West Oxfordshire.
