OXFORD
Sabina McCabe, 25, of Alice Smith Square, Littlemore, Oxford, admitted assaulting detention officer James Stevens in Oxford on September 23. Given a six-month conditional discharge.
Christopher Brantuo, 23, of Wilsdon Way, Kidlington, admitted assault by beating in George Street, Oxford, on September 8. Fined £115, £100 compensation, £15 victims’ surcharge and £85 costs.
Lance Heaver, 22, of The Grates, Oxford, admitted possession of cannabis in Five Mile Drive, Oxford, on September 8. Fined £60, £15 victims’ surcharge, and £40 costs.
Nathan Joy, 20, of Thames Street, Oxford, admitted possession of cannabis in Oxford Police Station on September 7. Fined £80, £15 victims’ surcharge, and £40 costs.
David Gardner, 48, of Jane Seaman Court, Shepherds Hill, Oxford, admitted assault by beating in Oxford on January 17. Discharged conditionally for 24 months and restraining order made.
Jo-Ann Lloyd, 31, of Gordon Woodward Close, Abingdon Road, Oxford, admitted theft by finding a laptop computer worth £1,200 in Cornmarket Street, Oxford, on July 13. Community order made with a supervision requirement. Told to pay £1,200 compensation.
James Marmon, 19, of Thames View, Abingdon, admitted being drunk and disorderly in Thames View on September 7. Fined £100, £15 victims’ surcharge, and £35 costs.
Daniel Long, 47, of Iffley Road, Oxford, admitted trespassing on railway lines at Oxford Station on September 8. Fined £100, £15 victims’ surcharge, and £35 costs.
Wesley Jacob, 35, of Windmill Road, Headington, Oxford, admitted shoplifting meat worth £100 from the Co-operative store in Banbury Road, Oxford, on August 13. Admitted stealing £70 of meat from the same store on August 15, and meat worth £50 from the same store on September 19. Also admitted stealing £70 of meat from the store on September 22. Sentenced to 12 weeks in prison.
Amy Paintin, 33, of Luther Street, Oxford, admitted shoplifting a cooked chicken worth £3 from Sainsbury’s in the Westgate Centre, Oxford, on August 19. Discharged conditionally for six months.
Mark Langston, 49, of Luther Street, Oxford, admitted possessing a stanley knife at St Aldate’s Police Station, Oxford, on September 26. Sent to prison for 12 weeks because of previous convictions.
Gary Rowley, 42, of Palmer Road, Headington, admitted shoplifting three eye kits worth £85.50 from Boots in Cornmarket Street, Oxford, on September 11. Discharged conditionally for 12 months and told to pay £85 costs.
Ainsley Smith, 31, of Lancut Road, Witney, admitted shoplifting hair straighteners worth £40.84 from Boots in Bury Street, Abingdon, on August 6. Community order made with a drug rehabilitation requirement. Told to pay £85 costs.
Eamonn Anderson, 52, of Salter Close, Oxford, admitted shoplifting ham and chicken slices from Sainsbury’s in Oxford on August 18. Also admitted shoplifting two boxes of wine worth £22.78 from Sainsbury’s in Oxford on August 19. Discharged conditionally for 12 months and told to pay £22 compensation.
Joe Sutton, 25, of Venns Water, Didcot, admitted shoplifting a pair of sunglasses worth £7.75 from Sainsbury’s in Didcot on August 23. Fined £25, £7.50 compensation, £15 victims’ surcharge, and £27 costs.
Adrian Clegg, 67, of Berry Croft, Abingdon, admitted stealing goods worth about £80 from Waitrose in Wallingford Street, Wantage, on July 27. Fined £50, £30 compensation, £15 victims’ surcharge, and £20 costs.
Max Winterbourne, 21, of Wallingford Road, North Moreton, admitted possession of cannabis in Didcot on May 6. Fined £165, £15 victims’ surcharge, and £85 costs.
Jose Phillips, 51, of no fixed address, admitted possession of a sharply pointed blade, namely scissors, in St Clement’s, Oxford, on August 19. Given a six-week prison sentence suspended for 12 months.
Chris Wain, 35, of Richens Drive, Carterton, admitted shoplifting a bottle of Champagne worth £28.99 from Co-Op in Marigold Square, Carterton, on July 26. Sent to prison for 14 days due to record.
Leslie Belcher, 51, of Speedwell Street, Oxford, admitted breaching his antisocial behaviour order by drinking cider in Oxford on August 7. Sent to prison for 60 days because of previous multiple breaches.
Rory Macleod, 34, of Nuffield Close, Didcot, convicted of assault by beating in Didcot on February 23. Given an eight-week prison sentence suspended for 24 months. Given a programme and supervision requirement and told to pay £100 costs.
BANBURY
Kieron Barnes, 21, of Miller House, Miller Road, Banbury, admitted £22 worth of criminal damage to a door in Prescott Avenue, Banbury, on September 6. Restraining order made, fined £80, £22 compensation, £15 victims’ surcharge, and £45 costs.
Andrew Bleach, 50, of Samuelson Court, Banbury, admitted possession of two wraps of cocaine on August 3 in Banbury. Fined £110, £15 victims’ surcharge, and £50 costs.
Jonathan Jackson, 30, of Brantwood Court, Banbury, admitted assault by beating in Brantwood Rise, Banbury, on August 6. Also admitted using threatening, abusive or insulting words or behaviour with intent to cause fear or provoke unlawful violence at the same place and date. Community order made and told to do 100 hours of unpaid community work in the next 12 months. Told to pay £85 costs.
Stephen Clutton, 42, of Portal Drive North, Upper Heyford, admitted assault by beating in Portal Drive North, Upper Heyford, on August 10. Community order made involving a programme and supervision requirement. Told to pay £85 costs.
Joseph Santos, 24, of Moorfield Court, West Street, Banbury, admitted shoplifting a JCB sander worth £29.99 from B&Q in Banbury on March 20. Discharged conditionally for six months, and told to pay £30 costs.
