A MAN has died after falling through a barn roof.
The 46-year-old was working on the roof of the barn at Great Park Farm in Besselsleigh when he fell, suffering serious injuries.
He was taken by the air ambulance to the John Radcliffe Hospital but late died, a police spokesman said.
The man's identity has not been released yet.
Thames Valley Police, which did not release details of the death until this afternoon, and the Health and Safety Executive have launched a joint investigation.
Detective Inspector Steve Raffield said: “This was a tragic incident and our thoughts are very much with the man’s family at this time.
“We will now conduct a full and thorough investigation into the circumstances surrounding this incident alongside the Health and Safety Executive.
