People convicted of offences at magistrates' courts around the county recently:
- Georghe Cernica, 28, of Horton View, Banbury, admitted being over the drink-driving limit on a moped in Stratford Road, Wroxton, on September 6. Had 41 milligrams of alcohol in 100ml of breath, above the legal limit of 35 milligrams. Fined £100, £15 victims’ surcharge, £45 costs and banned from driving for 12 months.
- Wayne Fenn, 33, of Northfield Close, Oxford, convicted of stealing gardening equipment from B&Q, Banbury, on May 14. Community order made with supervision requirement. Told to pay £109 compensation to B&Q and £200 costs.
- Dean Chesshire, 23, of Dunsomer Hill, South Moreton, admitted possession of ketamine in South Moreton on April 14 and again on August 9 in Long Wittenham. Fined £100, £15 victims’ surcharge, and £40 costs.
