DOES anybody watch Formula 1 these days, with its overpaid racers representing teams of great wealth? It’s a good way of getting rid of a Sunday afternoon but, let’s face it, is rather like watching paint dry.
I am going to speak up for the bikers here – let the BBC give a more prominent role to bikes. They are always second fiddle to cars. Why does the BBC not give them the position they really need?
I realise that Jenson Button and Lewis Hamilton are our main men, then there are the rest – some Germans, an Aussie and others.
In MotoGp we have Carl Crutchlow, soon to be joined by Bradley Smith, Scott Redding and Danny Kent from Moto3.
The British are coming back next year. With any luck the BBC will give us more satisfaction next time.
