OPERA singer Russell Watson has been forced to cancel a date at the New Theatre, Oxford, following an operation to remove a tumour on his brain.
The singer was due to appear at the theatre in George Street on Saturday, November 11, but the singer has been advised by specialists to continue to rest until he has completely recovered.
All tickets will be valid for the new date on Tuesday, April 3, but any refunds will be available from the box office for the next four weeks.
Russell told his fans on his official website: "As you are now aware, I have had to postpone my tour until February 2007.
"I want you all to know that I am very disappointed and will be counting down the hours until we begin next year."
