POLICE today appealed for help to find a 12-year-old boy who has been missing from home since Thursday.
Nooragh Zedarn was last seen at his foster home in Spruce Gardens, Blackbird Leys.
Nooragh is from Afghanistan, he is 4ft 11in with short black hair. He has a small light mark on his cheek about the size of a 50p piece.
When he was last seen he was wearing blue jeans, a brown and orange jacket and white trainers.
Paul Garbett, missing persons co-ordinator, said: "Nooragh has been living in foster care since June this year. He has mentioned on numerous occasions his wish to go to London and we think he has family in Croydon or Lewisham.
"Nooragh is only 12 years old and we are very concerned for his welfare. I would urge anyone who has seen Nooragh to contact me urgently."
Mr Garbett can be contacted at Cowley police station, via the Police Enquiry Centre on 0845 8 505 505. Alternatively, if you do not want to speak to police or leave your name, call the charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
