REAL ale fans have plenty to enjoy in Oxford this weekend at the city’s beer festival.
The Oxford Campaign for Real Ale (CAMRA) event kicked off last night at the Town Hall on St Aldate’s on Friday and Saturday.
Andrew Barrowman, 21, a student at Magdalen College, pictured right being served by Paul Harrop, was one of those sampling the ales on opening night.
Andrew said: “It is a really fun event – I just came down with a couple of mates as an excuse to have a couple of beers. I always have a real ale in the pub.
“I tried Straw Blond at the start when I got here which was very nice and I had a taste of Yorkshire Sparkle, which was lovely. “When I’m down in Oxford I like a pint of Oxford Gold – like everyone down here.”
