Sir – Through your pages I want to thank the driver of a black Polo. On Friday, October 5, as I returned from the John Radcliffe Hospital, she jumped out of her car and managed to return my wing mirror to its proper position; it had been unceremoniously clouted awry by a passing motorist.
She enabled me to drive safely home and also set an example of how to drive efficiently and courteously in busy traffic.
