A TEENAGER with hopes of becoming a primary school teacher is getting on her cycle in aid of children's charities.
Amy Hayes, 18, of Leafield, is to cycle up to 120km a day in the Middle East to raise funds for five charities.
She said: "This will be all for children's charities and I want to be a primary school teacher next year.
"I was not fit when I started training so this will help but the most challenging part will be raising all the money."
She aims to raise £3,000 to be shared between Childline, Barnardo's, Kith and Kids, Med Equip 4 Kids and Dreams Come True.
The six-day sponsored ride takes place in Jordan next March and to sponsor Miss Hayes email spottypinkhouse@hotmail.co.uk
