POLICE today named two men who died following separate road accidents in Drayton, near Abingdon, and Faringdon at the weekend.
They were Jesse Smith, 17, from Chesham, Buckinghamshire, and Christopher Gough, 38, from Swindon.
Mr Smith died in a crash in Abingdon Road, Drayton, at about 11pm on Sunday.
Three people arrested following the Drayton crash, which involved two cars, have been released on police bail pending further inquiries.
The men, aged 18 and 25 and a 15-year-old youth, have been bailed to return to Abingdon police station on January 4.
Mr Smith was the second person to die in a road accident in Oxfordshire on Sunday.
At about 5pm, Christopher Robert Gough, 38, from Swindon, died when the car in which he was travelling crashed in Coxwell Road, Faringdon. Another badly-injured occupant was taken to the Great Western Hospital, Swindon.
