Phil Adams rewrote the history books by claiming a record ninth singles title.
The Cricketers star, who matched the legendary Monty Greenaway when winning his eighth singles crown last year, went one better with a 2-0 victory over the George's Steve Walton at Rover Sports Club.
It was his fifth consecutive title - and he achieved it in sparkling fashion.
Adams set a maximum six in the first leg with Walton replying with five.
In the second leg, Walton could muster only two setting, which Adams sailed by with sticks to spare.
Adams completed a double on the night, helping Cricketers to a 2-1 win over Garsington Sports Club in the Monty Greenaway Shield.
Brothers Barry, John and Geoff Townsend joined Adams to pip Andy Beal, Roger Goodall, Trevor Greenaway and Ken Maunder.
Cricketers took the first leg 15-13 with Garsington, levelling the scores by taking the second leg 13-12.
They then set 14, but it wasn't enough as Cricketer's anchor man, Geoff Townsend, whipped off the winning dolls to take the leg 15-14.
Maunder and Greenaway gained compensation in the top pairs' trophy as they came from behind to beat Paul Sawyer and Gavin Anderson 2-1.
The leg scores were 6-9, 9-7, 6-5.
Adams was denied a treble when along with son Brian, he went down 2-0 to Squire Bassett's Alan and Paul Holt in the Parent & Child Trophy.
The Holts took the first leg 5-4.
But nothing could separate them in the second as they tied 8-8, and then 3-3 on three sticks before the two Holts both clanged off the doll in the one stick shoot-off to take victory.
Quarry Gate B beat Quarry Gate A 2-0 to capture the Jim Whitbread Troph.
Colin Richardson starred for the vistors with a five and a three.
Red Lion Marston just got the better of Rose Hill Dwarfs to win the Oxford Fours.
They took the first leg 9-8 and set ten in the second, which was just enough - despite Adam Baker clanging off a six - as Rose Hill fell one doll short.
Quarry Gate's Colin Richardson and Phil Hounslow beat Rose Hill Outcasts 2-1 in the lower pairs with the leg scores 4-2, 2-7, 8-5.
The final game of the night saw the George beat the Three Pigeons 2-0 to lift the Greene King Cup.
The George took the first leg 22-20, and then went past a set of 22 with players to spare.
