OXFORD'S major fireworks display is being staged this evening in South Park.
The display is being organised by Oxford Round Table and sponsored by The Big Bang restaurant in Jericho.
Doors open at 5pm and the display starts at 6.30pm. There will be a bonfire, food stalls and a fun fair. Admission is £5 in advance or £6 on the night.

Firework Display in Abbey Meadows, Abingdon, on Saturday, November 4. Gates open at 5pm, display start at 7pm. Admission is £5.
Charlbury Cricket Club is holding its Firework Extravaganza on Saturday, November 4. Gates open at 5pm, with children's display at 6pm followed by main display at 7pm. Adults £4, children (under 12) £1.
Standlake Village Hall fireworks display on Saturday, November 4, starting at 6pm.
A fireworks display is being held as part of a sausage festival at the George and Dragon pub in Upton, near Didcot, on Sunday, November 5. There will also be pig racing at the event. For details call 01235 848142.
Combe bonfire and fireworks on the village Green on Sunday, November 5. Bonfire will be lit at 6.45pm and the fireworks start at 7pm. No admission costs but a collection will be made on the night.
Kidlington Fireworks Display at Stratfield Brake on Sunday, November 5. Gates open at 6pm, start time is 7pm. Advance tickets cost £3 for adults or £2 for children. For more information call 01865 372143.
Steeple Aston firework display on Sunday, November 5. Gates open at 6.15pm, fireworks start at 7pm. Admission is £4 per person, or £5 on the gate. Call 01869 340423 for more details.
Wytham Recreation Ground display on Saturday, November 11. Gates open at 5.30pm, start time is 6.30pm. Admission costs £5. There will also be a barbecue and hot punch on sale.
