BBC Radio Oxford's breakfast presenter Sybil Ruscoe is leaving just six months after replacing Anne Diamond, it emerged today.
Ms Ruscoe, 45, was a popular replacement for Ms Diamond, who lasted 18 months in the hot seat.
Ms Ruscoe, a former BBC Radio 1 and BBC Five Live presenter, joined the station in March on a six-month contract, and is leaving to pursue other career options.
BBC spokesman Mary Picken said: "Sybil will be leaving mid-November and we wish her well.
"She intends to maintain contact with us and could still work for us as a freelance presenter."
