A MAN who went on the run after escaping from the dock at Oxford Crown Court has been given an extra six months in prison.
Jamal Coleman, 21, of Banbury, was on the run for nine days after he jumped out of the dock at Oxford Crown Court earlier this month, seconds after he was sentenced to two years for burglary.
He was recaptured in Birmingham and today he was back in Oxford Crown Court - albeit the court where the dock has a glass screen to the roof to prevent escapes.
He admitted escaping from custody and had an extra six months added to his sentence.
