MEEKO the Japanese Spitz may have looked reluctant to accompany owner Joey Price, aged seven, to a dog show, but he came away with a prize.

Joey and his best friend, pictured, took fourth place for ‘best turned out’ at Steeple Aston’s flower and dog show at the weekend.

Joey, who lives in the village, said: “We had a really good time.”
