FASTER trains to get us to London quicker? — Ha!
Train companies, are you sitting comfortably?
Because what you’re sitting in is what us passengers want –seats, seats and more seats.
Never mind faster trains, comfort is what we’re after.
No more of this standing up fiasco. If the lack of seating on our rail journeys gets any worse, I can foresee passengers holding on to dear life on the roofs of the carriages.
“Plenty of room up top but hold on to your hats”, Tannoy announcements would say.
Please train companies, give us less speed and more need.
