Oxfordshire Unlimited is delighted Mr Fagg’s letter (View Points, Monday August 27), concerning the Parade for Equality has shown that our advertisement has alerted the public to this important event taking place on Sunday.
Mr Fagg points out that there is a free barbecue for the first 160 entrants.
We had to make a rough estimate when booking a caterer and came up with a figure of 160.
We would be absolutely delighted if more came and I can assure you that they will not be sent away hungry.
So, Mr Fagg, do come along, and why not think about becoming a member of Unlimited by visiting our web site oxfordshireunlimited.org If you are a regular reader of the Oxford Mail you will be familiar with my fortnightly column The Disabled Space with my photograph at the top.
Now you have the opportunity to meet me in person.
I look forward to meeting you on Sunday at 11am at the Iffley Road running track.
Gwynneth L Pedler Deputy Chair, Oxfordshire Unlimited
