OXFORD: Police have made no arrests after a car mounted the pavement at Heyford Hill roundabout and hit a group of pedestrians.

Two girls, aged five and nine, a three-year-old boy and their father were taken to the John Radcliffe in Oxford to be checked over.

They were released from hospital the same evening. One of the children had sustained a small graze to their leg.

The accident, involving a grey Ford Focus, happened at about 7.30pm on Saturday. Anyone with information should call police on 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555111.
