PRECIOUS stones were stolen in a burglary at a Covered Market jewellery shop.
The glass of the Nothing Jewellery shop was smashed and necklaces, bracelets, and earings taken between 6.30pm on Wednesday and 6.40am on Thursday.
Pc Kim Pringle, from Cowley police station, said: “I believe the offender may have hidden inside the market overnight waiting for the venue to close up, and then they left the via the fire exit or waited until the entrance was unlocked early in the morning.”
