COGGES Manor Farm Museum is hosting a beer and cider festival this weekend.
The event will feature more than 40 locally-produced beers and ciders and will take place on Friday and Saturday.
Entertainment will include music, comedy, games, a pub quiz and barbeque.
Proceeds from the event will go towards helping develop the much-loved tourist attraction.
Museum director Colin Shone said: “It’s going to be great fun.
“It’s something we have wanted to do from early on and we did a mini one last year, but this is the first full beer festival.
“There are so many great local brewers and cider producers and it’s fantastic for us to connect with them.”
He added: “Anything we do goes towards supporting Cogges going forward.
“There are a lot of expenses that go into Cogges and something like a beer festival is a great way to ensure we keep this great resource open for everyone.”
Mr Shone said he was hoping Cogges would host beer and cider festivals every year from now on.
Tickets cost £6, which includes two free half-pint tokens, and following that half pints will cost £1. The event will take place between 6.30pm and 11.30pm both days, with last entry at 11pm. It is open to over-18s only.
To purchase tickets, email ops@cogges.org.uk or call 01993 772602.
