I WRITE to support the concerns raised regarding the loss of the sports hall at New Marston Primary School in Oxford.
I am astounded that in this important Olympic year, and with childhood obesity on the rise, such a narrow-minded option can be sped through with such undue haste.
Where is the transparity, democracy and future thinking?
A sports hall isn’t an extra, it should remain essential.
I think the whole thing and any similar plans in other Oxford schools should be halted.
This could look like corruption at the cost of our children’s future health.
Surely such an important concern needs a proper investigation? Or have the powers-that-be once again made a decision for their benefit?
