Unsigned musicians are being invited to compete for the chance to take the limelight at The Big Feastival. Alex James this weekend launches his Big Feastival Live and Unsigned search for band to win a slot on the main stage.
To be considered, bands need to upload one track to the competition website. They are then required to share the link through their own social media channels to drive support for their entry. The competition closes on Sunday, August 12. The top 10 tracks with the highest number of favourites on the closing date will be submitted to a judging panel including Mr James and Mercury UK president of music Mike Smith – the man who signed Blur to EMI. Mr James said: “I’m really excited to hear what these bands have to offer. We have such a strong music scene in the UK and there is a lot of talent out there.”
