A PEDESTRIAN was killed after a collision with a motorcycle today.
The elderly woman, who has not been named, was walking two dogs when he was involved in an accident with a motorcyclist on Chinnor Road in Kingston Blount shortly before 8am.
She was pronounced dead at the scene by paramedics.
The motorcyclist was taken by ambulance to the John Radcliffe Hospital in Oxford with head and leg injuries.
Police said one dog died at the scene, the other is being treated for serious leg injuries.
The road was closed for four hours while emergency services worked at the scene.
PC Naomi Gardiner, of Abingdon Roads Policing, said: "If you witnessed the collision please contact me so that we can establish exactly what happened."
