TEN schools in Oxfordshire are celebrating after winning the Department for Education and Skills's prestigious International School Award.
They were Blewbury Endowed Church of England Primary School, Didcot Girls' School, Hagbourne Church of England Primary School, Northbourne Church of England Primary School, Caldecott Primary School, Langford Village Community School, St Andrew's Church of England Primary School, Headington, St Thomas More Catholic Primary School, Kidlington, the Marlborough School, Woodstock, and The Warriner School, Bloxham.
The schools were applauded for their outstanding work in instilling an international dimension into the learning experience of children and young people.
The Oxfordshire establishments were among 220 schools in the UK who received an award.
