ACTRESS Faye Brookes is happy working with animals in a new musical production at Oxford’s New Theatre .
Ms Brookes was last year the first brunette to win the role of Elle Woods in Legally Blonde, which has been a smash hit on Broadway and in the West End.
Now touring the country, the production opened at the George Street venue last night and runs until Saturday night.
There are three dogs who have been cast to play the role of Bruiser, and Ms Brookes is pictured with the Chihuahua-Jack Russell cross called Browser.
Ms Brookes said: “I’ve never been on stage in Oxford before so it’s great to be here on tour with Legally Blonde.
“The dogs are really cute and working with them keeps me on my toes.”
