LOOKING at the front page of the July 4 issue of the Oxford Mail, which displayed a large photograph of a butcher’s shop, together with a headline about missing patients underneath, I was irresistibly reminded of the old tale of Sweeney Todd, The Demon Barber of Fleet Street, who was the reason for missing persons (no slur intended on the good butchers of Oxford!).
