AN Oxford pub has reopened after a £74,000 revamp.
The Seacourt Bridge Inn, in Botley, was closed last Monday for a complete refurbishment inside and out. The work has seen the pub fitted out with new furniture, signs and lighting.
Tracy Dennell, pictured with staff, has been landlady at the pub for two years. She said: “There has been a complete refurbishment on the outside and inside.
“It’s all been redecorated and it looks absolutely amazing.”
She added: “Traditionally we have been a male-orientated pub but this will definitely make it more appealing to women and families. It’s comfortable and welcoming.
“It’s new era for the pub.”
