Isn’t science extraordinary, when a woman who has been blind since the age of 12 is now able to trace the outline of a triangle thanks to a pioneering operation performed at the John Radcliffe Hospital?
And good for Annette Hornsby for brilliantly conveying the true magnitude of this achievement by saying: “I can tell my grandchildren that was their Nana who was involved in that.”
Wonderful.
