WITH all the glitz and glamour of Hollywood stars, pupils at local schools made an impression at their proms this month.
Year 11 Students at The Henry Box School in Witney arrived at the school for an “All of the Lights” themed-party on July 2.
Teacher and prom organiser Joe Mehrabian said: “The general public were able to watch the Year 11 cohort arriving by different modes of transport and were completely blown away by the whirlwind of energy and noise created by the prom-goers.
“Judging by the comments posted on the internet following the event, students unanimously agreed that the prom had been a roaring success.”
Students enjoyed dancing and music from string musicians Bow-Belles.
Meanwhile, pupils from St Gregory the Great School in Oxford arrived in style to their prom at the Four Pillars Hotel in Sandford-on-Thames.
The event on July 5, saw pupils pull up in a variety of limousines and sports cars before enjoying food and music into the evening.
