OXFORD: The case into a woman charged with stealing a purse has been dropped.
Janet Lestrade, 43, of Balfour Road in Oxford, was charged with stealing a purse containing £20 and bank cards on May 14.
But the Crown Prosecution Service offered no evidence and will not pursue the case further.
