PEOPLE and dogs braved the wind and rain to join a beer festival raising cash for two animal charities.
The three-day weekend at the Trigger Pond pub, in Bucknell, near Bicester, included a host of entertainment from face painting and cake sales to an auction and bouncy castle.
Proceeds from the weekend will be split between Ardley Rescue Kennels and animal charity Blue Cross.
An auction on Friday night – which included lots of a helicopter flight, a glider lesson and driving a Lotus car – raised about £1,600.
Annabel Pottle, of Ardley Rescue Kennels, took along six of the dogs to meet some of the people that were supporting them, and hopes she may have rehomed a lurcher called Gizmo.
Pubgoers also had a chance to try out one of 23 ales and 12 ciders.
Landlord Ben Coombes, said: “We were approached by Annabel a few months ago and thought it would be nice to do something for them.
“It has been a good weekend.”
