A motorcyclist was airlifted to Oxford’s John Radcliffe Hospital after a crash on the A420.
The accident happened at about 5pm last night and the road was closed both ways at the junction with Stanford Road in Faringdon to allow the helicopter to land. An ambulance service spokesman said that no details of the man’s injuries were available, but added that his condition was thought to be serious.
