People convicted of offences at magistrates courts in Oxfordshire recently:

Julia Forbes-Wilson, 45, of Merganser Drive, Bicester, admitted drink-driving on the M40 near Junction 9 services on April 4. Had 79 micrograms of alcohol in 100ml of breath, above the legal limit of 35 micrograms. Fined £200, a £15 victims’ surcharge and £50 costs. Banned from driving for 20 months.

Kalem Edwards, 20, of Bicester Road, Gosford, admitted three counts of assault by beating in Oxford on June 8, 2011, and failing to surrender to court bail on October 10. Jailed for seven weeks.

Mandy Ireson, 35, of Washford Glen, Didcot, admitted drink-driving in Washford Glen on April 4. Had 108 micrograms of alcohol in 100ml of breath, above the legal limit of 35 micrograms. Fined £250, a £15 victims’ surcharge and £50 costs. Banned from driving for two years.

Oluwatosin Omoniyi, 19, of Iffley Road, Oxford, admitted possessing cannabis (Class B) in Oxford on March 8. Given a six-month conditional discharge and told to pay £20 costs.

Jack Titcomb, 23, of Herschel Crescent, Oxford, admitted possessing cannabis (Class B) on January 13. Given a six-month conditional discharge and told to pay £20 costs.

Luke Thomas, 23, of Cumnor Road, Wootton, admitted driving without due care and attention on the A420 at Pusey on December 27. Fined £200, a £15 victims’ surcharge and £85 costs.

Sinead Nilacthnan, 43, of Marsh Lane, Oxford, admitted being drunk and disorderly in the Red Lion pub in Oxford on February 25. Given a six-month conditional discharge.

Keith Cherrill, 52, of Lydia Close, Oxford, admitted shoplifting two garlic bulbs, three bread mixes and two cheeses valued at £10 from Sainsbury’s in Oxford on February 2. Given a 12-month conditional discharge.

Jason Cloete, 19, of Market Place, Wantage, admitted being drunk and disorderly in Wantage Market Place on March 31. Fined £50, a £15 victims’ surcharge and £85 costs.

Stephen Cooney, 43, of Henry Taunt Close, Oxford, admitted shoplifting Smirnoff vodka valued at £16.07 from Tesco in Oxford on February 3. Given an 18-month conditional discharge and told to pay £40 costs.

Thomas Gregory, 26, of Freelands Road, Oxford, admitted possessing cannabis (Class B) on March 29. Given a 12-month conditional discharge and told to pay £85 costs.

Steven Thomas, 37, of Awgar Stone Road, Oxford, admitted shoplifting meat products valued at £39.07 from Tesco in Oxford on March 30. Given a 12-month conditional discharge and told to pay £85 costs.

Matthew Bell, 21, of Talmey Close, Basingstoke, Hampshire, admitted using threatening, abusive or insulting words or behaviour to cause harassment, alarm or distress in Didcot on January 19. Given a 12-month conditional discharge and told to pay £85 costs.

Melissa Freeman, 18, of Old Place Yard, Bicester, admitted possessing cannabis (Class B) in Bicester on March 11 and May 4. Fined £146 and a £15 victims’ surcharge.

Sean Langdon, 45, of narrowboat ‘Chaos’, admitted being drunk and disorderly in Banbury on May 4. Fined £145, a £15 victims’ surcharge and £85 costs.

Samuel Louther, 20, of Edinburgh Way, Banbury, admitted using threatening, abusive or insulting words or behaviour to cause harassment, alarm or distress. Fined £73, a £15 victims’ surcharge and £20 costs.

Roisin McLaughlin, 21, of Bretch Hill, Banbury, admitted shoplifting four cans of lager valued at £7.50 from Londis in Banbury on March 28. Fined £110, a £15 victims’ surcharge and £45 costs.

Leigh Lester, 39, of Causeway, Banbury, admitted criminally damaging a window valued at £600 belonging to Timpsons and a window of unknown value belonging to Holloways in Banbury on January 26. Told to pay £1,200 compensation and do 80 hours’ unpaid work.

Jamie Prime, 21, of Lawrence Way, Bicester, admitted possessing cannabis (Class B) in Bicester on March 9. Fined £73, a £15 victims’ surcharge and £20 costs.

Leam Warren, 19, of Bath Road, Banbury, admitted possessing cannabis (Class B) in Banbury on February 9. Given a six-month conditional discharge.

Jonathan Edgar, 42, of Hamsterley Park, Northampton, admitted two counts of making a total of 301 indecent images of children in Bicester between March 2007 and September 2010. Given three years’ supervision with a sex offender treatment programme. Told to pay £85 costs.

Mica Day, 18, of Elmhurst Way, Carterton, admitted drink-driving in Brize Norton Road, Carterton, on May 7. Had 65 micrograms of alcohol in 100ml of breath, above the legal limit of 35 micrograms. Fined £110, a £15 victims’ surcharge and £85 costs. Banned from driving for 17 months.

Christopher Jackson, 25, of Broome Way, Banbury, admitted driving without a licence and drink-driving in Broome Way on May 7. Had 70 micrograms of alcohol in 100ml of breath, above the legal limit of 35 micrograms. Fined £200, a £15 victims’ surcharge and £85 costs. Banned from driving for 18 months.

James Radburn, 28, of The Fairway, Banbury, admitted drink driving in The Fairway on May 5. Had 115 micrograms of alcohol in 100ml of breath, above the legal limit of 35 micrograms. Given a three-month curfew and told to pay £85 costs. Banned from driving for 26 months.

Michael Teall, 21, of George Street, Banbury, admitted possessing cannabis (Class B) in Bicester on March 10. Fined £165, a £15 victims’ surcharge and £85 costs.

Suleyman Tekagac, 19, of High Street, Scunthorpe, South Humberside, admitted assault by beating in Banbury on March 13. Given a three-month curfew and 200 hours’ unpaid work. Told to pay £250 compensation.

Tracey Herdman, 47, of Woodgreen Avenue, Banbury, admitted two counts of failing to notify a change of circumstances affecting her entitlement to widow’s benefit and housing benefit between 2007 and 2011 by failing to disclose that her partner was living with her. Told to pay £500 costs and given 200 hours’ unpaid work.

Nicholas Smith, 26, of Acorn Drive, Malvern, Worcestershire, admitted trespassing in pursuit of game, woodcocks, snipe or conies in Bampton on April 19. Fined £200, a £15 victims’ surcharge and £85 costs.

James Clark, 19, of Cornish Road, Chipping Norton, admitted burglary of three packets of cigarettes valued at £19.50 from a female changing room at The Fabulous Bakin’ Boys in Station Lane Industrial Estate, Witney, on February 3. Given a 12-month conditional discharge and told to pay £40 costs.
