A 39-year-old man has been charged after a woman was bitten on her stomach by a dog.
The 40-year-old woman was taken to the John Radcliffe Hospital after the incident outside St Aldate’s Police Station at about 10pm on Wednesday.
Ambulance spokesman James Keating-Wilkes said her injuries were not life threatening.
Lance Davies, of Osney, was yesterday charged with allowing a dog to be dangerously out of control.
Police spokesman Craig Every said two dogs had been seized by officers.
