Witney mayor Harry Eaglestone opens the new nursery
WITNEY mayor Harry Eaglestone opened Tower Hill Primary School’s new afternoon nursery this week.
The school previously only had a nursery in the mornings. Headteacher Tracey Smith said: “The idea is to enable some of our families to go back to work or college sooner and it is also really good for the children.”
Mr Eaglestone, who cut the ribbon, said: “It was a very nice day and the nursery looks very good.
“It will be a good asset to the town and there is such a friendly atmosphere there."
