A sustainable energy fair will be held at Westmill Wind Farm & Solar Park in Watchfield on Saturday, June 23 from 11am to 4pm.
Bosses at Oxfordshire Waste Partnership are using Recycle Week to encourage people to recycle more plastics.
Spokesman Paul Mocroft said: “We’ve been recycling our paper, cans and glass for a long time now and understand what to do.
“When it comes to plastic however, there’s more confusion around what people can recycle.
“Over the past few years our councils have expanded the list of plastics they can accept so almost all plastic food and drink containers can be put out for collection.”
Plastic bottle recycling events will be held at the following locations from 11am to 3pm:
- Witney Market Place, Tuesday.
- Cowley centre, Oxford, Wednesday.
- Didcot Orchard Centre, Wednesday.
- Banbury town centre, Thursday.
- Westgate Centre, Oxford, Friday.
- Abingdon town centre, Friday.
