OXFORDSHIRE’S hosepipe ban is expected to be lifted tomorrow.
It comes after what Thames Water has described as an ‘extraordinary amount of rain’.
The hosepipe ban came into force on April 5.
The water company has this morning said a ‘heartfelt thank you’ to the 8.8m people it supplies across London and the Thames Valley, including those in Oxfordshire, for complying with the Temporary Use Ban.
It said the move had helped save more than 100 million litres a day during the hot spell in May.
