A driver was taken to hospital after a crash on the A40 yesterday.
The accident on the eastbound carriageway at 7.35am, between the B4047 Burford Road junction and the A415 Witney turn, shut one lane, causing jams.
Thames Valley Police said a Porsche 911 hit the base of the Bampton Road bridge. The driver, a man in his 50s, was taken to the John Radcliffe Hospital with head and leg injuries.
