Leaders Witney saw off second-placed Beaconsfield 18-7 without displaying a real cutting edge.
The visitors bagged a converted try after ten minutes but Witney were back on terms through Henry Lamb, who chipped the full back before hacking on and touching down for a superbly executed try, which he converted.
Witney should have scored as they piled on the pressure, but had to be content with a brace of penalties from Henry Lamb.
The match-clinching score came from a patient forward drive, and from the melee, prop Matt Brocklebank stretched out for a try.
