THE half-term holidays may have been a bit of a washout, but these youngsters were overjoyed to get their hands on a brolly.
They took part in a street dance workshop at Pegasus Theatre, Magdalen Road, on Friday with a little help from the humble umbrella.
Among those taking part were six-year-old Kirzon Sim and Aleah Elliot, aged 10.
Kirzon’s mum, Maureen Sim, said: “They have a younger sister with learning difficulties and spend a great deal of time with her, so it was nice for them to have a day away, doing something for themselves. It was a nice way to finish off half-term.”
