VINTAGE car enthusiasts came from all over the country to see some legendary models in west Oxfordshire yesterday.
More than 500 vehicles attended the 12th biannual Churchill Vintage and Classic Car Show, on the village green.
The oldest on show was a 1904 chain-driven 6.5 litre Berliet.
Among those enjoying the day was George Cummin, who drove his Abingdon-built 1939 MG TB sports car from Ross-on-Wye, Herefordshire.
He said: “The star of the show for me was a 1934 Alfa Romeo, which was a bit tatty, but I loved it. These things are about personal taste. It was a great day.”
Since it began 1988, the show, which is held every two years, has raised more than £120,000 for local charities and community organisations
