County state school teachers will meet Oxford University bosses tomorrow to discuss how they can work together.

It is hoped the Natural History Museum event will help more state youngsters into the prestigious university. University head of undergraduate admissions Mike Nicholson said: “We think it’s important that universities and teachers think together about how students can fulfil their ambitions and potential.

“Part of that means making sure the support the get in deciding their future isn’t too little, too late.”
