OXON: Services from the county to London Marylebone were disrupted yesterday morning after a tree fell on the line.
The fallen tree was in Buckinghamshire but meant services could not run between West Ruislip and High Wycombe, affecting travellers from Oxfordshire.
Chiltern Railways has apologised for the disruption.
A tree also blocked the A361 around Cross’s Lane near Sarsden in West Oxfordshire yesterday.
The road was cleared by about 10am.
Strong winds of more than 80mph were reported across the country on Thursday night.
