Friends Tom Laight and Tim Traynor are gearing up for a wheelie hard challenge with a charity ride thorugh the UK.
The pals, both from the Banbury area, are to cycle from Land’s End to John O’Groats from Tuesday over 15 days.
The Bath University third-year engineering students hope to raise more than £1,000 for Banbury anti-poverty Habitat for Humanity.
Mr Laight, 22, from Bloxham, said: “We are trying to train between university projects, it is hard work.
“So far it has been about three hours a day, trying to build up the distance.”
