THIS is the second part of the panoramic photograph taken at the Schools of Technology, Art and Commerce in St Ebbe’s, Oxford, in the 1930s.
It comes from Cyril Claridge, of Hockmore Street, Cowley, who was a pupil there at the time.
He did a commerce course, including book-keeping which became his trade – he worked at John Allen & Sons, the Oxford engineering firm, and at Oxford Stadium.
The final part of the picture will appear soon.
