St Edmund’s Catholic Primary School in Abingdon had a fun day of activities to celebrate the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee on Thursday.
This included Mayor of Abingdon unveiling a new permanent display of tiles painted by all the children and staff showing their names and faces. There was also a royal procession, with year 5 children playing brass instruments; maypole dancing; the school choir; a bouncy castle; circus skills workshops and games.
Teacher Sarah Demarchi said: “All the pupils had a fantastic day and really enjoyed themselves”
