A FAMILIAR floral sight around Banbury has been given a Jubilee twist.
Three floral cock horses bearing crowns have been placed at the iconic Banbury Cross monument in honour of The Queen’s Diamond Jubilee.
The idea has been repeated several times in recent years to remind visitors and residents of the famous Ride A Cock Horse to Banbury Cross nursery rhyme.
Chacombe resident Rosy Burke said: “It is a famous nursery rhyme and it is an opportunity for people to see an eccentric floral display.”
