Charlie Buckingham was the hero for Masons Arms North Leigh as his side scraped to a 5-4 victory against Three Tuns B to preserve their unbeaten start to the Oxfordshire Super League.
Spencer Buckingham won his set 3-2, only for Bob Godwin to go down 3-1 against Marcus Wright.
Paul Townsend then lost 3-1 to Jon Russell (22.38) put Tuns 2-1 ahead.
Mick Richardson took the first leg in his set, but then lost the next three as Masons fell further behind.
However, Phil Busby (23.11) got Masons back in the match with a 3-1 win and Brian Innes levelled it with a 3-1 success.
Peter King lost 3-0 to Lee Russell (25.91) as Tuns moved ahead. Ade Larner (23.12) levelled with a 3-0 win against Paul Cohen.
Buckingham took the first leg of the decider and lost the next two, before winning the last two legs.
